On 16th September 2025, Placement Bureau – The University of Faisalabad held a meeting with the Punjab Information Technology Board to explore collaborative initiatives in digital skills and innovation. The meeting was chaired by Director QEC, Dr. Zahir Ahmad Zahir, and Dean NBS, Dr. Ashfaq, and featured Ms. Hina Arshad, Regional Head PITB, and Mr. Naveed Ali, Regional Head, Partnership Digital Skills Wing, PITB.

Discussions focused on the CM Internship Program Initiative, the Global IT Certification Program, and the Makers Space Initiative, aimed at providing students with practical exposure, globally recognized IT skills, and platforms for creative innovation.

This partnership represents a key step in preparing students for the digital economy and strengthening the link between academia and industry.
