A seminar on the topic of "Trustworthy AI" was organized by the Department of Computer Science in coordination with Placement Bureau, Saleem Campus, on 17 May 2024. The seminar offered participants up-to-date insights into recent developments, trends, and challenges in trustworthy AI, fostering a deeper understanding of the topic and its real-world implications. Chief guest speaker Dr. Saima Rafi, Asst. Professor, Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland discussed the importance of incorporating ethical considerations into AI algorithms and systems design. It has helped the students to speculate on future trends and challenges in trustworthy AI, such as the integration of AI ethics into education and the growing importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.
Furthermore, students will be able to discuss potential research directions and technological innovations that could further enhance the trustworthiness of AI systems.
