Day 2 of the SME Launchpad Session at The University of Faisalabad focused on practical business, finance, and freelancing insights.
Hafiz Abdul Rahman and Sharia Coordinator Faysal Islamic Bank Limited, explained Islamic banking and its distinction from conventional banking. Mr. Zeeshan Ahmad Mian, VP, Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited, guided participants on connecting with banks, microfinance institutions, and investors.
Mr. Shahid Irshad, CFO – ChemTex / ICMA, delivered a session on preparing effective business plans and projected financial statements. Mr. Ijaz Ahmad (FCMA), Tax Consultant and former Deputy Director, Technical Education Punjab, provided guidance on company registration and tax matters for SMEs.
The session concluded with Mr. Nauman Sarwar, Founder/CEO of H3 Solutions & PrimeHRMS and President FITCO 2026, who shared key traits for becoming a successful freelancer.
Closing remarks and certificate distribution were conducted by Ahmad Bilal Arif, Deputy Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) BSC Faisalabad.
