SME Launchpad Session-Day 1

Day 1 of the SME Launchpad Session by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) at The University of Faisalabad successfully gathered students and aspiring entrepreneurs for an insightful learning experience.
The session began with a welcome address by Dr. Aman Malik, Rector, The University of Faisalabad. Ms. Fouzia Aslam, Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP BSC Faisalabad), shared key insights on SBP’s role in strengthening Pakistan’s SME sector.
Expert sessions included:
Ahmad Bilal Arif (Deputy Chief Manager, SBP) on SME introduction and economic importance
Bakhtawar Abbas (Assistant Chief Manager, SBP) on SBP initiatives for SME promotion
Taimur Shahzad (Regional Manager-Credit Review, The Bank of Punjab) on government subsidy schemes and SME banking products
The day concluded with an inspiring talk by Muhammad Shafique Anjum, President, Faisalabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries, motivating participants toward entrepreneurial success.
