Each year, The University of Faisalabad (TUF) focuses not only on quality education with the help of skilled and highly educated faculty, but also on empowering the market with competent and skilled employees. TUF places a strong emphasis on holistic learning. We believe that education should not be limited to four walls. TUF Placement Bureau organizes monthly seminars for final-year students to bring immersive learning to them. Through these seminars, we try to inform our students about the potential challenges of the job market after they complete their degrees. In these seminars, we invite the best practitioners from the corporate world as guest speakers to share their perspectives with future employees. In this sequel, a seminar on "How to Appear Confident in a Job Interview" was organized on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Amin Campus. Keynote speaker, Senior practitioner Ms Hufsa Subhani (Manager, Talent and Acquisition) at Masood Textile Limited (mtm) provided tips to the students regarding a job interview. She explained how the first impression in a job interview could be critical; and elaborated on how an employer often decides whether to hire or not hire a person in the first few minutes of the interview. A considerable number of students from various departments attended this seminar. Ms. Hufsa also responds to the student's queries. She praised the work of TUF for decent work and economic growth.
